Why should I check the course code rather than its nickname?
CHC33021 replaced CHC33015 with a non-equivalent outcome.
Why do the numbers matter?
CHC33021 supersedes CHC33015 and is not equivalent to it. An informal course nickname can hide that difference. Use the qualification code and release when comparing an offer with your existing study records.
Can older learning still help?
An older certificate does not by itself settle credit for the current course. Give the provider your formal unit results and request a credit decision. Keep the old and new unit codes beside the written decision so you can see what remains.
What should you compare?
- Code
- release
- old certificate
- new unit list
What remains unconfirmed?
Not yet confirmed: credit available for an old course.
What can you do next?
Ask for a unit-by-unit credit review.
